Meeting Life Head On

I've been as busy as a bee of late, both at home and at work.
There are unfinished conversations in cyberspace, un-posted cards in my handbag,  uncompleted chores on my 'to do' list, unplanted flowers and unwashed windows.
But Spring is here with the promise of warmth, of  sunshine, and of long days with more hours for dreaming and doing.
How did we ever dream that we could have it all? Time for career, family, passions and obsessions.
It's not that the dreamers were wrong,  just that the dream wasn't shared.

  1. What a lovely bee! Sometimes I don't know how I ever managed a full time job. Even with just working 2 days a week, my time is gobbled up...Happy spring over in Ireland!

  4. Oh man, I'm right there with ya. So many dreams, so little time. I wish we got several lives to enjoy rather than just this lone, precious, quick-paced one.

  6. Wow what a fabulous picture! Beautiful.
Yes - how right you are - not enough time for everything.
I think the dream is more important than the reality.
